FCT police announce recruitment details for CBT exams

The FCT Police Command has announced the dates and venues for the computer-based test in the upcoming phase of the Nigerian Police Force recruitment process.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh stated that the test sessions are scheduled to occur on the 5th and 6th of March.

According to her, the tests will be conducted across nine centers of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board in the capital city.

It will be recalled that the Chairman of the Police Service, Solomon Arase, had affirmed a commitment to a merit-based recruitment process into the Nigerian Police Force, aligning with the Federal Character Commission’s requirement for equal representation.

In an announcement made by the Police Service Commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Ikechukwu Ani, on February 24, 2024, it was revealed that 171,956 successful applicants have commenced receiving invitations for the subsequent stage, which involves the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

In her statement, Josephine stated that the Police had placed security at all the centres of the tests, to ensure the security of every applicant.

reads “The FCT Police Command wishes to inform all the shortlisted applicants of the Federal Capital Territory in the ongoing police recruitment exercise of the schedule of the computer-based test (CBT) which will hold across nine (9) Jamb recognized examination centres in FCT starting on 5th of March till 6th of March 2024.

“The below-mentioned centres are the approved centres by Jamb for all shortlisted applicants in the Federal Capital Territory: 23 Technologies Limited, NAF Valley Estate, 3pl Obene Kanu Street, off Sb Abubakar Avenue behind Abacha Barracks, Asokoro, Abuja, FCT; 2. Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, Centenary Resource (CBT) Centre, Plot 80 Aguiyi Ironsi Street Maitama (Yoruba Mosque), Abuja; Capville Schools, Plot 2-4 Juliet Ultimate Drive, Off Capville Avenue by Public Service Institute Of Nigeria, Gwarimpa-Kubwa Express Way;

“Others are Jamb Professional Test Centre (PTC), Jamb Headquarters, Along Law School Road, Bwari, Abuja, FCT; Jamb Professional Test Centre (PTC), Kogo, Bwari, Abuja, FCT; Rosa-Mystica Academy, Plot Mf 216 Ave Maria Cottage, Water Board Road (Off Liberty Junction), Byazhin, Kubwa, Abuja, FCT; Sascon International School CBT Centre, N0. 19 Yeserdam Street, Maitama, Abuja, FCT; Tigh Technologies Limited, Sascon International School N0.19 Yeserdam Street Maitama, Abuja, FCT; Tudun Wada CBT Hub, Government Secondary School, Tudun Wada, Zone 4.

“All shortlisted applicants are enjoined to report for the test, as they had earlier been informed by Jamb on their portals. The FCT Police Command has proactively emplaced adequate security arrangements across all the approved CBT centres in FCT for the safety of all. The Command therefore wishes all shortlisted applicants good luck with their scheduled test.”
