A fatal accident involving a truck led to the death of an unidentified man early Friday morning along the Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway.
The spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the tragic event in a message sent to newsmen on Friday.
Photographs obtained from the scene depicted the deceased man trapped under one of the truck’s tires.
The incident took place at Sowo Village, creating a grim atmosphere in the area. Authorities have yet to release more information regarding the accident and the identity of the victim at the time of filling this report.
