Encomium as GSWM Founder Inducted Into Nigerian Books of Record’s Hall of Fame

The Nigerian Books of Record has inducted the founder of Gbenga Samuel-Wemimo (GSW) Ministry, Pastor Gbenga Wemimo as Fellow of it’s hall of fame.

The event which was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the Lord’s parish in Lagos State on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022 had in attendance eminent dignitaries.

Some of the dignitaries includes, the Director General, Nigerian Books of Record, Dr. David David, the General Overseer of Peculiar Gospel Outreach Ministry and his wife, Pst. Joseph & Pst. Mrs Febian Babatunde, the General Overseer of Theikos Doxa Evangelical Ministry, Prophet Femi Adedoyin, Resident Pastor, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Christ Covenant Parish, Pst. Tunde Adelakun as well as Ogun State Liason Officer of the Nigerian Books of Record, Mr. Okey Asiwaju.

In his remarks, the Director General, Nigeria Books of Record, Dr. David David said the inductee was nominated following his impact in the society.

According to him, “In every country, we have the good, the bad and ugly. Nigerian Books of Record is an encyclopedia of everything good in Nigeria.

“It is an encyclopedia that celebrate people from all walks of life who have made impact within their area of calling.

“The centre has various categories of induction and has inducted the likes of the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God as you can see as well as several others. Those inducted are role models that are worthy of emulation across the country and there are lot of criteria before anyone can be inducted.

“We are here today because we know that this man we are about to present to the world today has met the criteria. It’s not by size or money. He is using his influence to impact the younger generation to be in the position of leadership.

The Director General also said, “His impact is going out of Nigeria. For our centre have identified him for been in position to lead the younger generation.” He added.

Also speaking in their goodwill messages, some of the dignitaries present showered encomium on Pastor Gbenga Wemimo, describing him as a committed man of God.

The General Overseer, Peculiar Gospel Outreach Ministry, Pastor Joseph Babatunde said, “I feel very happy to associate with Evangelist Gbenga Wemimo. Right from the day I met him, I knew this was a thorough breed man of God. He is a man of his word.”

In the same vein, the Resident Pastor, RCCG, Christ Covenant Parish, Pastor Tunde Adelakun said, “when he joined our church, I saw in him a gift and I gave him a role during our outreach. He started a vigil and in less than a year, our number increased in the church. “He is always committed to the work of God. He love God specially and am sure this is just the begining for him.” He added.

Also, the General Overseer of Theikos Doxa Evangelical Ministry, Prophet Femi Oladoyin said, “We met by divine orchestration. “Everyone sited here have been impacted in one way or the other by him. One thing I want to thank God for and want to also challenge you is that God has put you here, everyone that the lord has placed in your hand, you must take them to the point where God will say Good my Son.”

In his response, the inductee, Pastor Gbenga Samuel-Wemimo said “there is nothing that has happen today that is as a result of my effort, but Gods’.”

He however appreciated the Nigerian Books of Record for recognizing and honoring him into the hall of fame.

While also appreciating the General Overseer of Peculiar Gospel Outreach Ministry for inspiring him, he said, “There is no better life than Christ. What I saw in Peculiar Gospel Outreach Ministry, I have also replicated in our ministry.”

Wemimo however encouraged Ministries to take advantage of the social media for the propagation of the kingdom of God.

“The social media has successfully connected the world. if you can be diligent and put God on that platform, it will reachout to the world.” He said.

Highpoint of the event was the induction of Pastor Gbenga Samuel-Wemimo into the Nigerian Books of Record by the Director General of the Organisation, Dr. David David.
