Eid-el-Kabir: NSCDC deployed 2000 Personal in Kaduna

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps(NSCDC), Kaduna state command said “In preparation for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, has deployed over 2000 personnel in all the 23 Local Government Areas in Kaduna State.

State Commandant, Mallam Idris Yahaya Adah who made the call at State Headquarters, while addressing head of departments, Units, Area Commander and Divisional Officers, noted that present threats to security are sumountable especially with support of the citizens.

He also called on residents and members of the public to be at alert and report suspected acts and persons to the corps and other security agencies to ensure hitch-free celebration.

According to him, challenges of banditary and kidnapping among others bedevilling the state and nation in general are worrisome, noting efforts are being intensified. Among such effort is the 2019/2020 NSCDC recruitment exercise, where officers are men are trained in every state of the Federation.

The NSCDC Kaduna Command recently completed training of more than 200 men on the 5th July 2022 . This trained Corps members will add up to the existing manpower in providing more security within and outside the state.Officers and men will be deployed to area of worship and recreation centers before, during and after the Festive period.

He expressed the determination of the command in protecting critical national assets and infrastructure stressing that the command’s performance is yielding positive results.

Also, the Commandant has called on parents and guardians to monitor the movements of their children/wards and to prevent them from becoming victims of criminals.

Commandant Adah appealed to residents to continue to have confidence in the response of agencies saddled with responsibilities of protecting lives and property.

Continuing, he advised that the lessons of the Eid El Kabir is obedience, Discipline and most of all spirit of sacrifice for the sake of Allah . The love shared during the season should be extended throughout the remaining period.

The Commandant charged Muslim Ummah to pray for peaceful coexistence and congratulated the people of the State during the season of Sacrifice and a successf Eid-el-Kabir Celebration.
