The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Ibrahim Mohammed, a 26-year-old from Adamawa State, wanted for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to the agency.
According to a statement by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Wale Oyewale, Mohammed is wanted in connection with “an alleged case of stealing and illegal possession of a Commission vehicle.”
The suspect hails from Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State and his last known address is 56 Japa Bariki Road, Adamawa.
The EFCC urged the public to assist in locating Mohammed, asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the nearest EFCC office or police station.
“We urge anyone with valuable information regarding Mohammed’s location to contact the Commission at its offices nationwide or the nearest police station and other security agencies,” said Oyewale.
The agency also issued a stern warning to anyone found helping Mohammed evade capture. “Anyone found aiding or abetting Mohammed’s evasion will face the full wrath of the law,” Oyewale added, stressing the importance of cooperation in bringing the suspect to justice.
The EFCC continues to call on citizens to work together to uphold the law and bring those engaged in illicit activities to justice.
