Desist from creating cattle ranches – IPOB warns S’East gov

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned Southeast governors to desist from establishing Fulani cattle ranches in any part of the region.

Speaking particularly to the plans by the Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, the group stated that it would vehemently resist any attempt to establish ranches at Nimbo in the Uzowani community of Enugu State or any part of the Southeast.

The group said this in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, on Monday.

It said, “IPOB and ESN operatives won’t allow the establishment of Fulani camps in the name of cattle ranches in any state in the Southeast.

“IPOB is monitoring the governors, especially Peter Mbah of Enugu State. They should know IPOB will not allow the establishment of any murderous camps in the name of cattle ranches in Enugu or anywhere in the Southeast.”
