The Cross River State Governor, Prince Bassey Otub has swore in the new Head of Service, Dr Innocent Eteng.
The event was held at the government house in Calabar.
The governor in a statement on his facebook handle on Wednesday said, “Today, I had the honour of swearing in the new head of service of the state.
“Like I stated earlier during the occasion, Dr Innocent Eteng who was not just the highest in ranking in the service, is a product of merit and this administration will uphold the ethics of merit and value in the civil service as the standard of promotion and reward.
“We must get our system back to what it used to be. Congratulation is in order.”
