Corps Members Donates Palliative to Orphanage in Niger

In a bid to further cushion the effect of lockdown as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, Corps Members of the Sustainable Development Goals Community Development Service Group in Niger State has donated items to the State Orphanage Home in Minna, as palliative

NYSC said this in a statement posted on its twitter handle on Wednesday, 13th May, 2020.
According to the statement, the Items donated include; 1 bag of Rice, 15 bowls of Gari,10 bowls of Beans, 2 cartons of noodles, Milk/Milo, custard powder, biscuits, sugar, toiletries as well as the sum of 5,000 Naira.

The SDG Corps Members, who were represented by four of their colleagues, presented the items to the Director, Niger State Orphanage Home, represented by Malam Husseini Aliyu today at the orphanage. NYSC Niger State Coordinator, Mrs Funmilayo Ajayi, extolled the thoughtfulness of the Corps Members as they decided to lend succour to the needy at the moment.

Receiving the items, Malam Husseini Aliyu expressed gratitude to the Corps Members on behalf of the children of the orphanage.
