Commission disclaim Job advertisement on Social Media, Warns Public

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has warned the public against job advertisement credited to the commission on social media.

Mrs Comfort Ekaro, the Permanent Secretary of the commission, gave the warning in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.

Ekaro said that the advertisement did not emanate from the commission, saying it was false and should be disregarded.

“For avoidance of doubt, job vacancies when declared to the commission by ministries through the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation are advertised on the commission’s website (www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng).

“Also, on the print and electronic media and interested members of the public can apply through the same channel.

“Members of the public are therefore advised to discountenance any job advertisement through the social media credited to the commission.”

She said that the commission did not communicate to the public through the social media.
