The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dan Hai, has reiterated China’s commitment to helping Nigeria lift its youths out of poverty.
According to Ambassador Hai, China will achieve this by investing in youth empowerment through basic training and entrepreneurship development.
This pledge was made during a courtesy visit to the national secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
Ambassador Hai emphasized that China has successfully lifted millions of its citizens out of poverty and is willing to share its expertise with Nigeria.
The Chinese Ambassador also highlighted the growing economic and bilateral relations between Nigeria and China, citing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to China as a significant milestone in strengthening diplomatic ties.
In his remarks, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje commended Ambassador Hai for his commitment to Nigerian youth empowerment and praised China for its cultural and economic exchanges with Nigeria.
China’s poverty alleviation efforts have been impressive, with over 800 million people lifted out of poverty in the last 40 years
. This expertise will undoubtedly be beneficial to Nigeria as it seeks to address its own poverty challenges.
The partnership between Nigeria and China is expected to deepen civil rule in the country, with Ambassador Hai expressing his commitment to supporting Nigeria’s democratic growth.
