Chidinma debunks marriage rumour with Flavour

Nigerian singer Chidinma Ekile, professionally known as Chidinma, has addressed recent rumors linking her to fellow entertainers Flavour and Kizz Daniel.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds, the 32-year-old singer clarified that she is not feeling any pressure to get married, despite ongoing speculations about her romantic life.

Chidinma dismissed the rumors about dating Kizz Daniel and Flavour with a firm “Nah, Nah.” She emphasized that there is no truth to the claims and explained her strategy for handling such rumors. “Stuff like that always happens in the industry. I just try as much as possible to block out the noise and distractions,” she said.

When questioned about her relationship status and if she has a special person in mind for marriage, Chidinma responded, “No, not yet.” She firmly stated that she is not in a relationship and emphasized that she is taking her time without any external pressure.

The singer, who gained fame after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa in 2010, has managed to remain grounded in the entertainment industry. She revealed that her strength lies in being true to herself and not succumbing to the pressures to conform to others’ expectations. “I’m just comfortable being me,” she stated.

Throughout her musical journey, Chidinma has shown resilience and consistency in the industry. She made history by becoming the first female musician to reach the number one spot on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart with her single “Emi Ni Baller.”

Transitioning from secular music to gospel, Chidinma disclosed her engagement in Christian ministry through her Instagram in May 2021. Despite her changing musical direction, she remains an inspiring figure who exemplifies the success that can come from reality show platforms.
