BREAKING: Two Alleged Kidnappers Arrested After Failed Attempt to Snatch Children In Ibadan (See Video)

Two alleged Kidnappers have been captured by angry mob after an alleged failed attempt to snatch two children from their mother in Ibadan.

The incident occured at the early hours of Sunday, 20 March, 2022, along Alakia Area in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.

NATIONAL TELESCOPE while at the scene of incident gathered that the alleged kidnappers who were dressed like mad men approached and threatened the woman identified as Mrs. Dupe Afolabi to hand over her children.

Speaking with National Telescope in an interview, Mrs. Afolabi stated that, immediately the two men threatened her with a big stick requesting for the children, she screamed that was when passerby came to her rescue.

She said, “We were waiting for taxi to iwo road when we saw him along the road as he was eating. But I said this person is not mad.

Then he gave the plate of food to the second person. Suddenly they told me to bring the children with me, that was when I screamed and people came to help me.

The men were however beating up by mob who attempted to set them ablaze.

The situation was however salvaged, as the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, when contacted by this medium, called the attention of Alakia Adelubi Divisional Police Station who arrived the scene.

As at the time of filing this report, the Police Spokesman confirmed that the alleged kidnappers have been rescued and taking to the police station in charge of the case while it’s been investigated.
