The owner of Hilton Hotel Ile-Ile, Osun State, Dr Rahman Adedoyin, has been found guilty of the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University.
The Osun State Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Ojo, said this on Tuesday, while declaring her judgement on the matter.
Six staff of the hotels, Magdalene Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle and Adedeji Adesola were also found guilty of various allegations.
Vanguard reports that Justice Ojo made the declaration while reading his judgment during the ongoing trial of Adedoyin and other suspects in Osogbo.
The PUNCH reports that Adegoke was killed in Adedoyin’s hotel in 2021.
