Bomadi Chairman Swears in Five New Supervisors

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area in Delta State, Hon. Andaye Rawlings Dagidi, has sworn in five new supervisors, aiming to enhance governance and drive development in the region. 

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Council’s Conference Hall and was attended by leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and various community members.

In his address, Hon. Dagidi noted the importance of the new appointments in advancing the administration’s goals. 

He stated, “The appointments will support effective governance aligned with the state’s M.O.R.E Agenda, fostering community-based and inclusive initiatives.” 

This action follows the inauguration of elected councillors on August 18, 2024, thereby completing the formation of both the Legislative and Executive arms of the local government.

The newly sworn-in supervisors include Hon. Dandy Mulade, who will oversee Agriculture and Natural Resources; Mr. Ekiyor Barber, in charge of Education, Youth, and Sports; Hon. Okubo Febugha, responsible for Community and Social Development; Hon. Adaka Amameniye, heading the Health Department; and Mr. Timipre Dauebimone, tasked with Works and Housing, while the Vice Chairman, Hon. (Mrs.) Poweide Bekes, will oversee the Environment Department.

Speaking on behalf of the new appointees, Hon. Mulade expressed their collective gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to work collaboratively to achieve the administration’s objectives.
