Boko Haram Terrorists Abduct University Dean, Other Passengers in Yobe

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists has shockingly adopt the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), he was abducted along with other passengers near Kamuya village, Yobe State.

The incident which may have occurred on Sunday , March 2, 2025, happened when the professor, identified as Abubakar Eljuma, was traveling from Maiduguri, where he had visited his family.

Eljuma was among 30 contestants vying for the position of vice chancellor at NAUB.

According to sources, the terrorists freed all female passengers but took the male passengers, including Eljuma, hostage.

The abduction has sent shockwaves through the university community, with many calling for the professor’s safe release.
