ASUU Strike: NAUS moves to stage Nationwide Protest

The ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been frowned at by Students of Universities across the country.

In a memo signed by the President, National Association of University Students (NAUS), Comr. Felix Simon Ijegalu and made available to CAMPUS FOCUS on Monday, June 15, 2020 said the Union will embark on a nationwide strike to demand reopening of all Tertiary Institutions.

It reads: “Attention all Naus Vice Presidents, State Cmc, Naus Stakeholders And Senators, Prepare For Nation Wide Protests To Demand Way Forward From The Government On The Reopening Of Our Universities.”

Meanwhile, the association disclosed that date of the commencement aswell as other details will be communicated to the public in due course.
