A cross section of the family

“am not surprised with what has happened here this evening. That people had to travel from East to West from North to South. From beyond the shores of this nation, to pay homage to this great man of God. Honestly speaking, it is over whelming.

“Arc. Bunmi lived the most impactful life. Life of service, life of ministry. Life of Cristlikeness, Life of abundance. Arch Bunmi was an epitome of humility, simplicity, commitment, righteousness and a person of impeccable integrity.

“And beyond all this, he is still a family man. He love his family. As a matter of truth, he groomed me. He prepared me, to step into his shoes he might not have known and per haps he knew but I didnt know, but year after year he will visit Abuja and I will sit under his tutolage and mentorship.

“I feel overwhelmed with Joy most importantly because we know where he has gone to. That he is resting in the bossom of the lord today.

Meanwhile, Pst Sola Kolade of Vine branch Church while delivering the sermon, enjoined believers to live a more purposeful life. Adding that everyone must die someday.
Citing the scripture in Ecclesiastes 7:2, the cleric emphasized the need to live a life that is centred on God.
Outlining three points of the sermon, he stressed that Everyone will one day die, there is one life to live and any life without God is meaningless.

He said, “Life without God is meaningless, one day all those houses will go, all those cars will go, what will matter then is how well you have live your life.

The Cleric described Arc. Adedeji as a devoted Man of God who lived his life on the service of God.

Affairming to the Clerics position, the Chairman & CEO, DAAR Communications, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, said “truly he was a true man of God. He was very committed to promoting and evangeling the younger group before he came to seek the hand of Sister Orlu.

“He has lived a very successful life and left behind a lot of wisdom and courage for the younger ones to be able to emulate in battling the challenges of life.

Chief Dokpesi however urged the family to remain united, strong and continue in the line which their father has laid.

“There is no doubt it’s going to be a very smooth one, there is no doubt he laid a very solid foundation for the unity and strength of the family.” He added.

Also, a veteran Gospel Singer, Evang. Bola Are, expressed confidence that late Arc. Adedeji has gone to be with the Lord.

“The program has been a glorious program because the Man who has gone to be with the Lord happens to be my brother in the 70s. He is a devoted, and humble Christian.”

“He is one of the great men that built me and built a lot of people and am greatful to God for what people are saying today.”

Another Gospel Singer, Big Bolaji described the Arc Adedeji as an amazing person from whom he has learnt a lot about life and kingdom work.

He said, “He is an amazing person to me. Of course, I met him literally as a teenager early days at Full Gospel Convention bauchi, ilorin and his many visits to Osogbo and he has been an amazing person. It is a challenge as to how a father should handle his children and grandchildren.

“So we have learnt much from him, we have learnt the dictate of heaven and how to make the kingdom of earth the kingdom of God.

“Tonight is a testimony of the impact he has had on so many lifes. ” He added.

Appreciating God for the life of his father, the first Child of Arch Adedeji, Mrs. Dunni Osinjolu expressed joy for a life well spent.

She said, “The things people have been saying about my father have been really humbling. From the day he passed rise up to this moment. He let us know as children that we have a long way to go.

” We have big shoes to fill and it is only by the grace of God that we can fill it. My dad strikes you as more than human and you know of course he is human but it is God that he serves that made him look as such towards people.

“He was a people person, he gave his life to serving people, serving his God and helping people.

“According to the testimony we have heard of him, this is really humbling and it’s a life lesson.” She added.

Also the first Son of the deceased, Arc Bolu Adedeji described his father as a virtuous man who lived for kingdom work.

He said “Today has been a reality to what he stood for throughout his life which was plainly kingdom work.

” I discovered that he stood by some core value that made him who he was in life. Spirituality, his life was all about kingdom work. Integrity, he never wanted a stain to his name, his name was far more important to him than riches. Diligence, he was always diligent in his service to God and Man.

“Capacity building, he built himself and built a lot of men. Full Gospel was a platform for him to build men and he did that excellently well. Possibility mentality, he couldn’t have been a great Architect without thinking that things were possible . Even his life from where he came from to where he is today is an evidence of possiblity mentality.

” Sacrifice, he sacrificed everything, he sacrificed his life, his business, his asset and money for Christ. And am happy today that he is receiving a burial that is worth more than words.

For young Anjolaoluwa Osinjolu, her grandfather was more than a grandfather but also a protector.

In her words, “He was the only one that could tell when I was upset even for the littles things, he would want to get to the root of it and resolve it and make sure am comfortable. Even as simple as somebody taking something from me he will rise to my defence, he would always be on my side whenever conflict arouse and even if I was wrong, he would defend me and correct me in private. He was a kind and generous man.”
