Apostle Joshua Ogbodo, the candidate representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isoko North local government area of the state has tended his congratulations to Prince Godwin Ogorugba, who emerged victorious as Chairman-Elect, Following the conclusion of the local government council elections in Delta State,
In a heartfelt message shared on his Facebook page, Ogbodo expressed his best wishes for Ogorugba’s tenure, praying for divine wisdom in steering the affairs of Isoko North Local Government Council towards delivering significant democratic benefits to its residents.
Dr. Felix Omoruwo, the Returning Officer for Isoko North, announced Ogorugba, representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the winner with 38,126 votes, surpassing Ogbodo’s 2,206 votes.
Despite the electoral outcome favoring his opponent, Ogbodo’s gracious acknowledgment highlights a spirit of sportsmanship and unity in local governance aspiration.
