The All Progressives Congress Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC) has called on Nigerian youths to reconsider their participation in a planned nationwide protest, urging them to give President Bola Tinubu time to address the country’s pressing challenges.
Adeayo Tella, Secretary General of the APC-CDC and Chairman of APC Spain, made this appeal on Saturday in Lagos.
Tella highlighted President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” asserting that its positive impact will soon be evident.
He emphasised the importance of unity among Nigerians to achieve a better future and cautioned against the potential negative outcomes of the protests.
Tella also reminded protest organisers of the destruction and loss of lives and property that occurred during previous demonstrations, such as the 2020 EndSARS protest.
He urged Nigerians to allow President Tinubu more time to address the country’s issues, pointing out that a single year is insufficient to rectify damages accrued over two decades.
