Allow officers’ wives to visit husbands at war front – DEPOWA tells FG

President, Defence and Police Officers Wives Association, Mrs. Victoria Irabor has called on the Federal Government to make provisions for officers’ wives to be able to visit their husbands at the war front.

Irabo, who is also the wife of the Chief of the Defence Staff, Lucky stated this on Thursday during an interview at the launching of her book in Abuja titled, “The Journey of a Military Wife”.

She said, “The government should find a way to regulate the length of time husbands stay at the war front, stay away from families. Even if they have to stay for a long time, they could have an arrangement where military wives can be taken to the location to visit their husbands if the husband cannot come home.”
