The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations during the forthcoming Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The Sector Commander, CC Rosemary UK Alo, made the appeal during a press conference held at the Command PE Hall on June 14, 2024 and it was duly signed by ARC BJ Olubola.
The press conference was part of the Corps Marshal’s strategic intervention to mitigate road traffic crashes during the celebrations. The Sector Commander presented statistics on the recent rise in road traffic crashes and emphasized the need for collective effort to prevent accidents.
She outlined the Command’s strategic interventions, including increased visibility, enforcement, and public education campaigns. The State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA) Oyo State, media stakeholders, and transport stakeholders attended the press conference.
