Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara on Wednesday, sworn in four commissioners at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt.
The commissioner are among those who served under the administration of ex-Governor Nyesom Wike.
This is coming barely two days after assuming office and taking the oath to serve the people as the governor of Rivers State.
Speaking during the swearing-in, the governor admonished the Commissioners to be parotitic and offer selfless service to the state,
The commissioners include; Prof Zacheous Adango (Justice), Dr Alabo George Kelly (Works), Prof. Chinedu Mmom (Education), and Barr Isaac Kamalu (Finance).
Also sworn in were the new Head of Rivers State Civil Service, Dr George Nweke, whose appointment the governor described as strictly on merit, and a member of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission RSIEC, Ibierembo Thompson.
Recall that the governor had on Tuesday forwarded the names of the commissioners to the Rivers House of Assembly.
