Tinubu should prioritise education, youth development – Ex-BoI GM, Babatunde

Former General Manager, Large Scale Industry at the Bank of Industry, Mr. Joseph Babatunde, has enjoined the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to prioritise the education sector during his administration.

He said President-elect when sworn-in should focus on developing the sector.

The ex-BoI GM who said this during an interview on Saturday, also stated that the incoming government should reassure the youths of his commitment towards their development by creating job opportunities.

He said, “A lot of awareness has been created now in the last election in terms of the total neglect of the Youth. The incoming government has to do something urgently to reassure the Youth that there will be job opportunities and that the education sector will be much better than it used to be.

“Particularly within this first term, he has to do a lot to assure and reassure the citizens that we are on the right path.”
