In commemoration of the the 50th year anniversary of the National Youth Service Corps, President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday granted automatic employment in the Federal Civil Service to 65 former members of the NYSC.
The President also awarded the ex-NYSC corps members scholarships to pursue their education up to the Doctorate Degree level at any university of their choice within the country.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Mr Femi Adesina on Thursday.
According to the statement, out of the 65 recipients, 52 individuals received the Presidential Honours Awards, while 13 others who were physically challenged ex-Corps Members recognised under the NYSC Hope Alive programme.
