PDP’s National Convention: Consensus prevail as Ayu emerges National Chairman, See Full List

Out of the Twenty-One vacant position of the People Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC), Nineteen have been elected through Consensus.

This was reached at the PDP National Convention as Iyorchia Ayu emerged as National Chairman while the position of Deputy National Chairman South, and Deputy National Chairman North were contested.

The Convention which was held at the Eagle Square, Abuja, on Saturday 30th-Sunday 31st October, 2021 ushered in a new set of members from various parts of the country into the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, to take over its leadership.

The new National Chairman, Dr. Ayu in a remark said the PDP was on its way back to power and called on Nigerians to support its efforts.
The new NWC members-elect will assume office effectively in December, at the expiration of tenure of the incumbents.
