The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has congratulated Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo and Mallam Saliu Mustapha on their new appointments in Kwara State.
Comrade Esinrogunjo who was once NANS Chairman and Ilorin West Local Government Chairmanship aspirant was appointed by the Executive Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Senior Special Assistant on Rural Mobilisation while Mustapha was installed as the Turaki of Ilorin by Dr lbrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin.
In a statement obtained by NATIONAL TELESCOPE on Friday, October 22, 2021, the apex student body, described the appointment of Esinrogunjo as a reward of steadfastness and a blessing to the students circle.
The statement reads, “National Association of Nigerian Students under the leadership of Comrade Saleeman Yusuf Issah AAT, ACA has felicitates former chairman Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo on appointment as Senior Special Assistance to Governor of Kwara state on Rural Mobilization.
“The appointment of Esinrogunjo is a blessing to students circle and also a reward of steadfastness to a leading actor in Ò tó gè! movement. Comrade Esinrogunjo is no doubt a testament to the fact that student leaders across Kwara are able to thrive in position of authority.
“We pray for God guidance for the revered comrade as he’s taking one of the biggest steps to stardom. We also appreciates the confidence reposed on to our leader from the executive Governor of Kwara state.”
In the same vein, NANS expressed their appreciation to the Emir of Ilorin, HRH, Dr. Sulu- Gambari for the appointment of Mallam Saliu Mustapha as the new Turaki of Ilorin, describing it as a well deserving appointment.
NANS added that, “The gestures from the new Turaki has been, in no small measure, provide succour to students in Kwara state. We pray that the new title conferred on Mallam Saliu mark a new stage of blessing in his life, as we pray for long life and sound health for him and the Emir of Ilorin.”
