The Federal Government said it has disbursed first payments of Payroll Support Program to not less than 101,567 beneficiaries.
President Muhammadu Buhari made the disclosure through his twitter handle on Wednesday.
According to him, the beneficiaries were drawn from 16,253 business under its Covid-19 Survival Fund Scheme of the Federal Government.
He wrote, “I am pleased to announce that 101,567 beneficiaries drawn from 16,253 businesses today received their first monthly payment from our Payroll Support Program.
“The program is a @SurvivalFund_ng Covid-relief initiative to support qualifying MSMEs with staff salaries for 3 months.”
