The Management of the Federal Polytechnic offa has confirmed that Two unidentified Students were involved in a ghastly auto accident that occurred on Wednesday.
The incident which occurred along Ojoku road involved a tricycle and a Toyota Camry
The Management in a statement signed by the Institution’s Spokesman, Olayinka Iroye said the ghastly accident disclosed that the two students are currently hospitalized and are responding to treatment.
The statement reads in part, “The management wishes to inform the Polytechnic Community that the ghastly accident which occurred this morning involved a tricycle and a Toyota Camry along Ojoku Road and two students of the Polytechnic who were in the tricycle are in a stable condition and responding favourably to treatment.”
The Management however condoles with the family of other victims of the unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, in a viral video currently on Social media, CAMPUS FOCUS observe that mammoth crowd at the scene of incident, while men of the Road Safety Corp rescue some of the victim.
it was learnt that there were other form of casualties but as at press time it was yet to be ascertained.
