The University of Ibadan (UI), has released advertisment for the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor of the Institution.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Insitution’s Registrar, Mrs. Olubunmi Faluyi and made available to CAMPUS FOCUS by the Director of Public Communications, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo on Tuesday, 19th May, 2020.
According to the statement, the post of the Vice Chancellor of the University will become vacant by December 1, 2020.
The statement reads, “The post of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan,Nigeria, will become vacant by 01 December, 2020.
“In accordance with the provisions of the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Decree No.11 of 1993 (as Amended by Decree No.25 of 1996) and by the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act,1993 (Amendment) Act 2003 and Act2012, the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan wishes to commence the process of filling the vacancy.
“Interested candidates are requested to note the following information about the University:”
