The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned that the use of Bleach and other disinfectant on Surfaces is dangerous for treatment of Covid-19.
NCDC in a statement posted on its twitter handle on Saturday, 25th April, 2020 caused the public not to use such item to treat Coronavirus.
According to the statement, drinking bleach & disinfectants can lead to death.
The statement read:.”It is important to note that bleach & other disinfectants should be used to clean surfaces. They should NOT be consumed by people to treat #COVID19
“Drinking bleach & disinfectants can lead to health complications & even death.”
