LASU VC lauds Student for Emerging in Harvard Programme

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, has lauded one of his students Tolani Odukoya on his outstanding performance.

Odukoya, a 400 level student of Medicine and Surgery, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), was selected as one of the participants for the Harvard Crossroad Emerging Leaders Programme for the year 2020.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated Odukoya for displaying a high level of self-belief by putting himself up for the programme.

He however urged him to be a proud ambassador of the University at the event in Dubai.

“On behalf of the entire Lagos State University, congratulated Odukoya, a 400 level student of Medicine and Surgery, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), on his recent selection as one of the participants for the Harvard Crossroad Emerging Leaders Programme 2020.

“Odukoya’s achievement is an evidence of what is possible for those who believe in themselves. There will always be opportunities; never be afraid to take them”, he said.

The student is one of few young leaders across the world selected to take part in the Emerging Leaders programme scheduled to hold in Dubai between 30th March and 6th April, 2020.

The event is a fully funded programme for financially challenged college students from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia which is aimed a serving as an opportunity to develop the capabilities of tomorrow’s leaders as well as foster collaboration across the region.

Participants of the programme are expected be trained by 4 leading Harvard Business School Professors.
