Rivers Police Seek Parents of 14-Year-Old Found in P’Harcourt

The Rivers State Police Command has located a 14-year-old girl named Oluchi Chisom, who was reported missing.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Police Public Relations Officer SP Grace Iringe-Koko revealed that efforts are ongoing to locate the parents of the young girl.

“The Rivers State Police Command is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents or guardians of a 14-year-old girl, Oluchi Chisom. She hails from Otu Ocha Village, Umuoba Anam, Aguleri, Anambra State, and was found wandering along NTA Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State,” the statement read.

According to the police, Oluchi was brought to the Ozuoba Police Station by a Good Samaritan.

She informed officers that she lives with her guardians but does not know their names or address. Expressing her desire to reunite with her family, she identified her parents as Mr. Ifeanyi Jide Ofor and Mrs. Chinasa Jide Ofor.

The police are urging anyone with relevant information about Oluchi’s parents or guardians to come forward.

“The Command appeals to anyone with useful information regarding Oluchi’s parents or guardians to contact the Police Public Relations Officer at 08036219523 or visit the Ozuoba Police Station. Your assistance in reuniting Oluchi with her family is greatly appreciated,” the statement concluded.
