DELTA: Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State have lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for sustaining the pipeline surveillance contract awarded to Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL), a move they say has created thousands of jobs and improved security in the Niger Delta.
In a statement signed by key APC figures, including Delta APC Chairman Elder Omoni Sobotie, Senators Ede Dafinone, Joel Onowakpor-Thomas, and Ned Nwoko, the party emphasized that the initiative aligns with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by empowering youths and enhancing national security.
The party leaders expressed gratitude to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, and the Chairman of TSSL, Chief Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), for their roles in ensuring the contract’s execution.
“The leadership of APC Delta State extends heartfelt appreciation to President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to economic empowerment and national security. The pipeline surveillance initiative is a game-changer for our youths, ensuring they are gainfully employed while protecting critical oil infrastructure,” the statement read.
They also commended Tompolo and his security firm for effectively handling the surveillance contract, leading to a reduction in crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism.
The leaders reaffirmed their confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, urging Deltans to support his administration’s policies.
“This initiative is not just about security; it is about economic stability and sustainable development. We encourage all stakeholders to collaborate in ensuring the continued success of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement added.
The APC leaders further assured that they would work closely with the federal government and relevant agencies to create more opportunities for the people of Delta State.
