As the Hajj season approaches, intending pilgrims from Kano State are racing against time to meet the February 3rd deadline for payment.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has urged pilgrims to complete their payment of N8,457,685.59 to avoid any last-minute complications.
For many pilgrims, the Hajj journey is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fulfill a sacred Islamic obligation.
However, the high cost of the pilgrimage has raised concerns among some intending pilgrims.
“I’m worried that I might not be able to raise the funds on time,” said Aisha Muhammad, an intending pilgrim from Kano.
“I’ve been saving for months, but the deadline is approaching fast.”
Despite the challenges, the Kano State Government has assured pilgrims that it will provide necessary support to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj experience.
The state government has also organized an orientation programme to educate pilgrims on the dos and don’ts of the Hajj journey.
Laminu Danbaffa, Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, emphasized the importance of meeting the payment deadline.
“We urge all intending pilgrims to complete their payment on or before February 3rd to avoid any disappointment,” he said.
As the deadline approaches, pilgrims are advised to remain calm and focused on their spiritual journey.
With the support of the state government and the pilgrims’ welfare board, many are optimistic that they will have a successful and enriching Hajj experience.
