NACOE Matriculates 285 Students for 2024/2025 Session

The Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE), Sobi, Ilorin, has matriculated 285 students into various programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Provost of the College, Maj. Gen. Umar Babangida, disclosed this during the 6th matriculation ceremony held on Thursday at the Maj. Gen. Adebayo Hall, Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin.

In his address, Maj. Gen. Babangida reminded the students of the institution’s motto: Discipline, Knowledge, and Strength.

“This encapsulates the core values that will guide your journey here,” he said, urging the new students to embody these principles in both their academic and personal pursuits.

Describing NACOE as a citadel of learning, the Provost emphasized that the institution is committed to equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in an ever-changing world.

“Beyond academic excellence, our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. I urge you to take advantage of the resources and expertise available to expand your intellectual horizons,” he added.

The Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Prof. Oluwole Banjo, also congratulated the students, encouraging them to remain focused and disciplined to achieve success.

“Uphold your integrity, be disciplined, and make the school proud,” Prof. Banjo advised.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone for the newly admitted students as they begin their journey at NACOE, a premier institution for military and civilian academic training in Nigeria.
