Gospel Singer, Timileyin Ajayi, has narrated to nigerians his motive towards the killing of his 24 year old girl friend, Salomen Adaidu, to infidelity.
Ajayi made this statement while in custody at the Nasarawa State Police Command in Lafia, showing no sympathy of his action.
In an interview with Press men, Ajayi disclosed that he caught Salome severally through her phone cheating on him.
He said, “, She was cheating. She hides most of the things from me most times. I saw her chats with other guys on the phone”.
Ajayi admitted he acted impulsively, stating,“It’s not something I planned. It happened on that day, and it happened.”
In a shocking guesture, Ajayi gave no regret for the murder.
“Life is reciprocal; that is what I thought. I don’t have any regrets because we were actually compatible,”he added.
Salome, who is a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) stationed in Abuja, had previously gone to see Ajayi at his home in New Karshi, located in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, prior to the unfortunate event.
Meanwhile, Speaking on the incident, Police Public Relations Officer for the Nasarawa State Command, SP Ramhan Nansel, assured the public thorough investigation for justice.
“Investigation is ongoing, and upon conclusion, he will be arraigned in court for prosecution. The suspect will not be spared if found wanting,”Nansel stated.
