The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar II, has called on the Federal Government to increase funding for tertiary education in Nigeria.
Speaking during the Foundation Day ceremony of the University of Ibadan at the International Conference Centre on Monday, the Sultan emphasized the need for adequate investment in education.
He highlighted that improved funding is crucial for the education system to fulfill its potential, particularly in conducting research and driving national development.
