The Kaduna State Security Council has announced a movement restriction from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, to ensure peaceful local government elections.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, stated that the restriction aims to prevent security breaches and ensure orderly conduct. Only essential personnel with proper identification will be exempt.
Aruwan urged citizens to cooperate with security agents and report suspicious activities to the Kaduna State Security Operations Room (09034000060 or 08170189999).
