The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has reaffirmed his commitment to rescuing Nigeria from the current economic challenges.
He emphasized that the party’s focus is on addressing the suffering of the masses and ensuring that power is wrestled from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by 2027.
During a visit to the Osun State NNPP Secretariat, located along Osogbo-Ikirun road in Osogbo, Kwankwaso stressed the importance of strengthening the state chapters of the party for more efficient administration.
In a statement released by Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, the Osun State Party Chairman, Kwankwaso, represented by a three-man delegation led by Dr. Rahila Mukhtar, assured Nigerians that the NNPP remains focused and determined to deliver relief to the people from the prevailing economic hardship.
“The reports we are receiving from various states, particularly Osun, bring me great joy. As we prepare for 2027, we are fully aware of the challenges ahead, but we are ready.
“Nigerians have seen through the tactics of the leaders we’ve had—leaders who use poverty as a tool to keep citizens subservient and then offer them crumbs during elections. I will not deceive the people. My mission is to rescue the country from this quagmire.”
Kwankwaso highlighted the party’s commitment to the welfare of the masses, stating, “The NNPP has good intentions for Nigerians. We have started mobilizing across the country, equipping our state secretariats, and providing vehicles to ease movement for effective organization.”
In his welcome address, the Osun NNPP Chairman, Dr. Odeyemi, praised Kwankwaso for his dedication to the people’s welfare and reiterated the Osun chapter’s commitment to making the NNPP a viable alternative for the people of Osun State.
He expressed appreciation to the delegation members, Dr. Rahila Mukhtar, Dr. Muhammad Khalil, and Alhaji Abdusalam Abdulateef, for their unwavering support and commitment to the party’s mission of rescuing Nigeria.
“We won’t rest until we make the NNPP the people’s choice in Osun and Nigeria,” Dr. Odeyemi concluded.
