Viral Online Testimonies Fake, Says Chosen Church

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has urged Nigerians to be cautious with viral testimony videos circulating on social media.

Pastor Chidi Louis, the church’s spokesperson, revealed that these videos have been altered by bloggers to distort the actual messages of church members, creating a misleading narrative.

Pastor Louis addressed the public’s reactions to these videos, stating that they were intentionally edited to undermine the genuine miracles happening in the church.

He emphasized that only parts of the testimonies were shown, which led to misinterpretations and false impressions.

A notable example involved an elderly woman who described a dream where she defended herself against armed robbers.

Pastor Louis clarified that the edited videos falsely implied these events occurred in real life, whereas they were merely part of a dream.

He urged viewers to watch the full testimonies to grasp the correct context.

To counter the misinformation, the Lord’s Chosen Church has released the complete, unedited videos to prove the authenticity of the testimonies.

Pastor Louis condemned the bloggers for their “malicious” editing, intended to belittle the church’s work.

In support of the church, other religious leaders have also warned against mocking spiritual experiences.

Pastor Gospel from Port Harcourt highlighted that many testimonies from the Lord’s Chosen Church represent “victories in dreams.”

The church encourages the public to view the full, unedited testimony clips on its official platform for a clearer understanding.
