Kogi Gov appoints Onyekehi Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment

Hon. Abdulkareem Suleiman Onyekehi has been appointed as the Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment by the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

This appointment was officially made when Onyekehi received his letter from the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade.

Onyekehi, who previously served as the focal person for the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in Kogi State, expressed his gratitude to Governor Ododo for his commitment to youth development.

Onyekehi emphasised that his new role is a significant opportunity to contribute to the progress of Kogi State.

He praised Governor Ododo’s focus on youth empowerment, which has been evident since his inauguration in January 2024, and assured that he would work diligently to support the Governor’s vision.

Onyekehi also acknowledged the influence of the former Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and committed to fulfilling the expectations placed on him to advance youth interventions in the state.
