The Kano State Government has taken legal action against former governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, filing a fresh charge on Tuesday.
According to case No. K/143c/24, Ganduje and former Commissioner for Justice Musa Lawan are accused of criminal conspiracy and misappropriation.
These charges are said to contravene Section 308 and are punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, Laws of Kano State, Nigeria.
The government also alleges offenses contrary to Sections 97 and 315, specifically accusing Ganduje and Lawan of abuse of office.
The state intends to call four witnesses, but no arraignment date has been set yet.
