Osun State FPS Induction Ceremony Scheduled for July 4, 2024

The Fourth-Estate Professional Society (FPS), headquartered in Ilorin, Kwara State, has officially announced the induction ceremony for its Osun State Chapter Fellows and Members.

Scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2024, the event will be held at NULGE Hall, located within the Olorunda Local Government Secretariat in Olonkoro, Osogbo.

In a statement co-signed by the National President, Dr. Babatunde Salami, and National Secretary, Mr. Michael Olanrewaju (MAO), the society disclosed that Prof. Victor Osaro Edo from the History Department of the University of Ibadan will be the guest lecturer. Prof. Edo’s address is highly anticipated, given his extensive expertise and contributions to historical scholarship in Nigeria.

The induction ceremony is poised to be a significant event, marked by the conferment of Honorary Fellowships on two distinguished individuals: Dr. Wale Bolorunduro and Mallam Olawale Rasheed.

These honorary fellowships is to recognise their exceptional contributions to their respective fields and support for the professional society’s ideals.

In addition to the honorary awards, a total of 79 new members from various local governments across Osun State will be formally inducted into the society.

This diverse group of professionals represents the growing influence and reach of FPS within the region, reflecting the society’s commitment to fostering excellence and professional development.

The ceremony will also feature the presence of high-ranking officials from other state chapters, including the Chairmen of the Lagos State Chapter and Ogun State Chapter.

The FPS is renowned for its dedication to promoting ethical standards and professional excellence among its members.
