Shehu Sani Accuses Northern Politicians of Conspiring Against Tinubu

Former Senator Shehu Sani has accused prominent northern politicians of plotting to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.

Sani claims that their recent visits to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura are part of a scheme to reclaim power for the north.

According to Sani, an activist and former lawmaker, these politicians are trying to resurrect Buhari’s political influence and rally support against Tinubu’s administration.

He urged northerners to reject this alleged conspiracy, emphasising that these politicians offer nothing of value and that their power-driven agenda is reprehensible.

Sani condemned their efforts to stir northern sentiments, warning that such actions could destabilise the democratic process and threaten the nation’s fragile unity.

He highlighted the shortcomings of Buhari’s tenure, citing issues like nepotism, economic mismanagement, and widespread insecurity.

Sani advised the northern population to be wary of these politicians’ maneuvers and to focus on national interest rather than regional power games.
