Kebbi Government Plans Welfare Packages for Civil Servants

Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has unveiled plans to introduce enticing packages to enhance the performance and dedication of civil servants.

The announcement was made during the inauguration of a three-day workshop focused on Basic Accounting Principles and Application for Cashiers and Finance Clerks from all 21 Local Government Areas.

Organised by the Local Government Service Commission in collaboration with POBICON Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin-Kebbi, the workshop aims to streamline service delivery across the state.

Governor Idris praised the commission for its initiative and reiterated his commitment to advancing the welfare of civil servants. Alhaji Mansir Sheahu, Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, commended the governor’s support and emphasized the workshop’s theme, highlighting its role in ensuring transparent financial management.

The event also featured insights from Dr. Mujitafa Mohammed Abubakar, the representative of the Consultant Service, and the Deputy Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Birnin-Kebbi, who assured participants of the training’s success.

With a careful selection of resource persons based on professionalism and experience, the workshop promises to equip attendees with valuable knowledge and skills essential for effective service delivery.
