The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is getting ready to unveil the outcomes of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will address the media in Abuja on Monday to announce the release and discuss related matters.
This was conveyed in a notice shared with journalists by JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Fabian Benjamin.
Initial reports suggest that the results set for release on Monday pertain to candidates who took the UTME in the initial days, with others following after a period of review.
JAMB clarified that the delay was to ensure meticulous examination and to uphold the credibility of the results.
This delay aims to address concerns such as impersonation and other irregularities.
Over 1.9 million candidates participated in the 2024 UTME across 700+ Computer-Based Test centers nationwide. The exam, which began on April 19, 2024, is set to conclude today.
