The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has called on all youths not allow themselves to be used by politicians as thugs to cause violence in the forth coming 2019 general elections in the country.
Speaking at the University of Ilorin 34th Convocation Ceremony in Ilorin today, the President who was represented by the Executive Secretary, National University Commission Prof. Abdulrasheed Abubakar also called on parents to guide their children to behave responsibly.
“As we prepare ahead of the 2019 general election I appeal to all students and youths not allow yourself to be used as thugs for violence and weapon of destruction by politicians who do not mean well for our democracy and our dear nation.
