In commemorating the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, the Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Interior, has designated Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, 2024, as public holidays.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Aishetu Ndayako, on Sunday in Abuja.
The minister expressed his congratulations to every Muslim for successfully finishing the fast during the sacred month of Ramadan.
Tunji-Ojo urged Muslims to emulate the qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which include kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, and compassion.
The minister advised Nigerians to continue the bond of unity that results in peace and oneness in the nation.
