Residents hail actor, Ray over Palliative distribution

Many hail actor Muka Ray as he distributes food items to less privileged people in his hometown on Thursday 1st of September 2023

Popular Nigerian actor and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kwara State, Muka Ray, has been hailed by many for his selfless service in purchasing and distributing food items to less privileged people in his hometown following the removal of fuel subsidy.

Honourable Eyiwumi Aramide, otherwise addressed as Muka Ray, has commenced the distribution of palliative in his county home, following the effects of fuel subsidy removal on the masses.

The palliative which contained 50kg bags of rice, 50kg bags of Beans, 50kg bags of garri, Tubers of Yam, cartons of Noodles, Palm Oil, Vegetable Oil, Sewing Machines, Grinding Machines and some other necessary items were distributed earlier in Ipetu/Rore/Aran Orin town in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara state.

While addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Muka Ray disclosed that the kind gesture was part of his efforts to support Kwara State Government in the cause of mitigating the hardship incurred by the removal of fuel subsidy in the country.

His statement read in part, “It is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that my exceptional and pragmatic leader, His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON highly prioritizes the welfare of Kwarans at all time. This is evident in his unmatched proactiveness in the cause of alleviating the hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy as several initiatives were been put in place to bring ease to all and sundry in the state.

“However, this gesture is aimed at supporting the efforts of Kwara State Government in the cause of subduing the effects of fuel subsidy removal in the life of our people in the state”.

He, therefore, urged everyone to look beyond the short-term pains they are currently experiencing and cooperate with the government as the future that awaits us will be greater.
