Sen. Alli debunk fake empowerment scheme bearing his name

The Oyo South Senator, Sarafadeen Alli has debunk the allegation wavering around by some unknown person’s using his name to defraud people that he is the founder of a fake empowerment scheme on Sunday.

He disclosed this information in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan by his special adviser on Media, Akeem Abass.

The statement reads, Senator Alli is not involved in any such activities and has not authorised anyone to demand money on his behalf for such purposes.“It has come to our attention that someone has been using the name of our principal, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, to defraud people on the pretext of providing empowerment opportunities,” it said.

“Please be informed that Senator Alli is not involved in any such activities and has not authorised anyone to demand money on his behalf for such purposes.”
